This group was established by the late Gill Absolon and welcomes people with a range of eye conditions including glaucoma. It meets at the Palmerston North City Council Library on the third Tuesday of each month (except for January).
Peer support groups are run up and down the country for people living with glaucoma. They’re an opportunity to share your experience with like minded people and get support from people who understand.
Participants have described their groups as “a place to ask questions in a non-judgemental environment”. If you’re wanting to be a part of your local support group, contact us.
