Including a gift to Glaucoma New Zealand in your, Will is a powerful way to make a positive difference to the outcomes of those with glaucoma and their families, far beyond your lifetime.

Glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness in New Zealand – this can be prevented with your help.

People leave bequests of all sizes and no gift is too small. Whatever the size of your bequest, please be assured it will make a real difference to those with glaucoma, and the services Glaucoma NZ provide.

You do not have to make a new Will to leave a gift to Glaucoma New Zealand. You can simply add a Codicil (an addition) to your existing Will. Please seek legal advice from your solicitor to include Glaucoma New Zealand in your Will.

When making a Bequest to Glaucoma New Zealand, we suggest the following wording:

For a Percentage Bequest

I give and bequeath to Glaucoma New Zealand (CC21421) a sum of money representing ………….% of the value of my Estate to be used where most needed. The official receipt of Glaucoma New Zealand will be sufficient discharge to my Executors/Trustee for the Bequest.

For a Residual Bequest

I give and bequeath to Glaucoma New Zealand (CC21421), the rest and residue of my Estate to be used where most needed. The official receipt of Glaucoma New Zealand will be sufficient discharge to my Executors/Trustee for the Bequest.

For a Specific Bequest

I give and bequeath to, Glaucoma New Zealand (CC21421), the sum of $………………………. or the following specific item/s ……………………………………. The official receipt of Glaucoma New Zealand will be sufficient discharge to my Executors/Trustee for the Bequest.
