Tui Homer (nee Russell) was the founder of Central Vision and now co-owner of Matthews Central Vision. Tui is Taranaki born and raised. She qualified with a Bachelor of Optometry in 2005 from the University of Auckland. Moving forward, she then went on to gain a certificate in Ocular Therapeutics. This qualification allows Tui the rights to prescribe eye medication and treat anterior segment disease. More recently Tui has undertaken extra studies to allow the independent management of glaucoma.
